puzzling pieces

so putting together puzzles is one of those relaxing and mindless activities that I have found that I enjoy from time to time... As of late I have been putting together a 1000 piece puzzle that was one of my favorites from childhood. I have memories of putting it together with some christmas music blaring in the background and it is simply a high quality puzzle with a train, and houses that have different color outlines, a waterfall, some swans, horse drawn carriages, and some pumpkins... i doubt that there are many puzzles out there that rival this one.

Well, come to find as I have neared the finish line for the puzzle that it is missing 3 key pieces (cue: daunting music). I'm seriously disappointed in this puzzle. As much fun as it was to put together now it's come to a discouraging hault. I can only hope that those pieces will be found on the floor of my living room. Which by the way brings up the idea of spare parts for puzzles. I know that it wouldn't work, but I need something to make me feel better about those stinking empty holes. This whole missing pieces thing reminds me of the same problem I've been having with my dryer 'eating' my socks. Do you have any solutions, besides getting a life?

alright so here's the deal

i was sick for a week... but i still went to work

volleyball has been sitting down to dinner with and eating all of my free time.

i've set up an emailing system for the school so that they can contact parents with the info needed to keep their students alive.

i've gotten up by 7.00 every saturday morning for a vball tournament in some random part of northeasterrn wisconsin.

my art students are setting off to work on self portraits or 1-2 point perspective which they all love me for (it's a requirement... that they love me).

my keyboarding students are complaining about how stinking bored they are, no offense to me of course

i've been trying to work on my professional development plan whose due date is creeping up on me

i've gotten through episode 16 of season 2 of 'lost' (thank you blockbuster movie pass)

and i haven't seen my roommate for at least 3 days.

life is rolling/crawling right along...
