who's got my back?

seriously people why didn't anyone tell me that 'jarhead' was such a stinking crummy, go nowhere, do nothing movie. i was severely disappointed last night when the first hour of the movie moved so slowly that in the hopes of something, anything action wise. i stayed awake only to realize that that would never happen.

blog worthy hodge podge

so this summer has kind of thrown itself together as a solid bunch of random things that keep Lisa busy. I've spent 2 full weeks working in an office whose mindless tasks treat me quite well, i've been to california and back for the first time... why didn't anyone tell me that san diego is 74 and pretty much perfect everyday? i really wish that wisconsin could find that setting on it's temperature dial, but instead i've been in a gym that gets up to about 85 degrees and 60% humidity daily for volleyball camps.

in addition to those things i've been moving into a new, sweet duplex whose space and fenced in yard have afforded my roommate Liz and I the opportunity to get a stinkin perfect dog, Higgins.

outside of a few more weeks of mindless office work and a trip to minnesota my summer is over and all of my prep for the school year needs to be ready. (yeah, I should really get on that)

California... California.... Here I come!

Tomorrow begins my wonderful journey to California for my cousin Eric's wedding. Can't wait to take in all of the fun and festivities it will entail! and I'll be back on the day of one of my most beautiful friends birthdays, that's the ninth for those of you not in the loop. Happy Birthday Annika... Love you, you gorgeous piece of meat you. Expect something new on this blog in a little over a week. :-)
