my spidey sense is tingling...

Adam as pretty much the coolest uncle ever sent a few sweet gifts with me when i went out for easter to see Ben & Kate. The first of which being a sweet spiderman costume that fit nate almost perfectly. It even had room for his large muscles!

Adam also got a sweet monkey puppet for Nate to play with, which he just loves.

Nate & Eli besides being without shirts for almost the whole weekend also enjoyed the 'bob the tomato' and 'larry the cucumber' hats that we got for them.

Surprisingly, Ben fits into those hats almost too well...

Here I am with my little niece Ava... she was adorable the entire weekend, it has to be so tiring for her to be that cute all the time.

My mother was also in MN for the weekend, spending time with her grandkids so it was a grand ol' reunion.

The weekend itself was a great joy, and I look forward to seeing all of them as soon as I can this summer.

you are about to see what has been keeping me from having restful sleep for the last month.

here are some pics of the set that i have designed and executed for peter pan. i think they look a lot better with the actors on them, but i'll have to borrow some of those pics from the yearbook people.

This is the backdrop for Neverland (before we put it on the stage)... we also made large mushrooms and have a couple trees that fit on stage.

This is the pirate ship.. .the only way for actors to exit is by going into the 'captains cabin' or jumping over the side of the ship.

Here is the nursery... where children slumber safely in their beds until young boys and fairies 'fly' into the room and take them away

can't hardly wait

this weekend I am going to be traveling to Minnesota to hang out with my brother & sister-in-law, my niece & nephews, my mom and my little brother. hopefully it will be loads of fun and it will take my mind off of the play for at least a few days...

details and sweet pictures may well be arriving soon after my return.

i've got high hopes

recently I have become involved with designing the set for our school play, 'peter pan' to date i have designed most of what i want to happen as far as the set is concerned but a lot of it has still not taken shape yet. i have a wonderful crew of students helping me, but so far all we've been able to get done is a lot of the painting for the backdrops. there is still a whole pile of things that need to be made for props and such. thankfully my little brother who is quickly becoming a pro at this stage stuff is coming on monday to help me out with anything and everything. that still doesn't keep me from becoming extremely stressed out about the whole situation and losing sleep... but at least i know i'll be able to sleep again once it's all over. Thank God!
